By , July 7, 2019

An image the world will never forget.

In remembering the events of the spring 1989 pro-democracy protests that swept the nation and the subsequent, violent crackdown on June 4, 1989, China Law & Policy has interviewed various experts, eyewitnesses to the events of 1989 and others who have been impacted or have something to say.

This page is a “living” page and we will be updating it as we collect stories.  We have broken down Talking Tiananmen into various categories, starting with “Eyewitnesses in the Provinces,” interviews with various people who were outside of Beijing in the Spring of 1989 and were eyewitnesses to the nationwide protests and the demand for change.
