The petition system is originated from Xia Dynasty(4000 years ago) based on Chinese history book. Now the marble pillar (huabiao) a national logo of China, was originally made by wood. If people want to complain or appeal to the King, they can post/carve their demand o this pillar. The King and his officials will go there to see peoples’ demands.This is the earliest petition system

Korea had a similar system (sowŏn) in the 18th century. (Ti Tae-jin, _The Dynamics of Confucianism and Modernization in Korean History, 211) I will be teaching about it, in passing. I would like to mention the Chinese system, by analogy. Does anyone know during which dynasty the Chinese petition system originated?

The movie has been released in France by the INA. The DVD has English as well as French subtitles and contains 3 movies by Zhao Liang.

Altough I was kind of let down after people talked it up too much, I still thought it was a pretty good watch. My sister loved it though. To each their own.
